Montel Williams is the host of the hit Lifetime shows Military Makeover and Operation Careers. Williams was the host and executive producer of the nationally syndicated The Montel Williams Show from 1991- 2008 and was awarded a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host in 1996. Williams has authored eight books, four of which rose to NYT bestseller status. He was born and raised in the Baltimore, MD area and graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1980. Williams served in both the Marines and Navy for a total of 22 years and is the recipient of several military awards and commendations. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Fisher House Foundation and the Anne Romney Center for Neurological Diseases at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
